Born on January 2, 1948 in Stoneham, MA and passed away on October 5, 2015 in Dallas, TX. Loving father, son, brother, and friend. He received his undergrad at University of Illinois and doctorate at Northwestern University. He practiced medicine for 40 years, most recently at the VA Hospital of Dallas. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Paul Whelpley, and wife, Emily Ann Whelpley. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Matt), and Amanda (Brian); granddaughters: Emily, Olivia, Charlotte, and Adelyn; mother, Grace; brother, Barry; and sister, Robin (George).
