Jeffrey Henderson Whitaker, age 46, passed away May 26, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center in Downtown Dallas; the same hospital where he was born on January 1st 1968 to Gerald C. and Jimmie R. Whitaker. Jeffrey attended Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas and Richland College before graduating from the Art Institute of Dallas. He is survived by his parents, Gerlad C. and Jimmie R. Whitaker; son, Zachary A. Bonzo; aunt, Louise and husband, Scott Holyfield of Dallas, Texas; uncle, Dick and wife, Carnella of Houston, Texas; uncle, Thomas R. Whitaker Lewisville, Texas; uncle, Richard S. Whitaker of Wills Point, Texas; Steve, Rachel, Cameron, Serena, and Bethany Lam all of Frisco, Texas; numerous cousins and friends. He will be so dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jeffrey was a published poet, singer, musician, videographer, cartoonist and audio-video technician for the Improv Comedy Club for nine years. He had a great fondness for film, music, books and graphic novels, but the biggest love of his life is Zackary Adam Bonzo who is left to mourn his passing. Services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi 8000 Eldorado Pkwy., Frisco, Texas 75033 on Saturday June 14th 2014. Food will be served at 5:30pm with the services beginning at 7:00pm.
