Obituary

William Hunter Clemenceau of Dallas, TX left this world March 31, 2022, due to a sudden catastrophic illness. He was 28 years old. Hunter was born in New Orleans, LA and grew up in Egypt, Azerbaijan and Katy, TX before graduating with a degree in Finance from LSU. He leaves behind his parents George and Cielle Clemenceau, brother Anderson Clemenceau, grandmother Ouida Rellstab, uncle Martin Muller, cousin Camille Tyra, and extended family members "Aunt" Cindy and "Uncle" Dave Berkey, grand-aunts Audrey Rubis and Gladys Cramer, grand-aunt and grand-uncle Mary and Bob Hammer, and countless friends and family that loved him. Hunter was an excellent golfer and loved Bayern Munich soccer and LSU football. He lived a large life and got to see and do so many things. He sat on the Pyramids, cruised the Nile River in a felucca, played on an undefeated soccer team while in school at Cairo American College, camped in the desert of Egypt, swam in the Red Sea, saw Windsor Castle and the Tower of London, visited Disney Paris and the Eiffel Tower, went on a safari in Kenya and Tanzania and saw lions, hippos, rhinos, and leopards, glamped near Mt. Kilimanjaro and watched the elephants roam, walked on Table Mountain and drank wine in Cape Town, South Africa, panned for gold in New Zealand, skied in the French Alps, explored castles in Austria and Germany, fished the Zambezi River and was showered by the mists of Victoria Falls, saw acrobats and the Forbidden City in Beijing, walked on the Great Wall of China twice, visited the black sand beaches of Hawaii, hiked to the top of Pike's Peak in Colorado, toured Knights Templar castles in Spain, ran a cross-county race in the Republic of Georgia, visited Moscow and New Delhi on school trips, played rugby in Dubai, threw stones into Cloud Catcher Canyon in the Caucasus Mountains, played in mud volcanoes near Baku, ate in a caravanserai in the old city of Baku, saw the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque and shopped the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, waded in the hot spring waters of Pamukkale, Turkey, and had so many other adventures. Hunter landed his ideal job in Dallas in May 2021 as a Financial Project Manager and had a promising career ahead. He was a registered organ donor, and his generosity has helped individuals in 3 states have a chance for longer and healthier lives. The family would like to thank the medical staff in the Neuro-ICU at Medical City Plano Hospital who worked relentlessly for days to try to save Hunter, as well as the special friends who were by his side at the hospital until we arrived. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date in Dallas. Hunter loved dogs and, as the grandson of two World War II veterans, would want to help provide a service dog to those who served our country or to help save homeless or special-needs dogs. Donations honoring Hunter's memory can be made to Patriot Paws (https://patriotpaws.org/donate2/) or to Best Friends Animal Society, where a fundraiser has been set up in Hunter's memory (https://support.bestfriends.org/site/TR/PersonalFundraising/General?px=3743612&pg=personal&fr_id=1480).
