William Dewey Jones, 78, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2021 surrounded by family and loved ones. William was born on July 10, 1943 and grew up in Revere, Massachusetts, a town he loved and enjoyed memories that lasted a lifetime. William served this great country in the U.S. Navy as a Disbursing Clerk (DK) for 4 years. William retired from American Airlines where he provided over 30 years of service. William always enjoyed Italian food, cooking, and Boston Red Sox baseball.  Williams message for his "future" grandchildren, "Build an Empire". William will be dearly missed and always remembered.

William was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Mary Jones. He is survived by his partner, Joann, brother Carl "Butch", and children, Kyle, Brandon, Lynn, Stephanie, and Christopher. A viewing will be held on November 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Gateway Funerals and Cremations located at 17390 Preston Road Suite 310 Dallas, Texas 75252. Following the viewing, a burial at 2:15 p.m. will be held at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, Texas 75211.
