Obituary

William Alexander Watson, 38, Dallas, Texas March 01, 1988 – April 17, 2026

Born in Alexandria, Virginia to Jim and Ingrid Watson. William moved with his family to Santa Barbara California in 2006, when he was 18. William attended Santa Barbara Community College. William lived for some time with his beloved Grandma Therese who had such a beautiful Dutch accent. He spoke so highly of her and loved her so much.

William is survived by his wife Moriah and 14-month-old son Pace Alexander, his parents, his 7 loved siblings, Sarah, Molly, Heidi and Heather, Monica, Nathan and Tommy and other true brother Justin.

William was a loan officer for his entire adult life. He was dedicated to his career and so proud. He was a top platinum producer for several years, earning himself multiple president's clubs all over the country. William wanted nothing more than to be a successful man, husband and father. William gave everything in his power to make his family feel safe, secure and protected. William grew up wanting to go go go and left this world the same way. He woke up ready to take on the day. William always dressed his best no matter the day, event or time. He was a giver. William wanted to be surrounded by happiness everywhere he went. William always looked for a good time. He wanted to make each day special. William had knowledge for everything. This man knew facts. He filled his brain with information and retained it like a sponge without a way to empty the water. He loved learning and was so smart. William lived in Colorado with Moriah for 15 months, exploring and camping all over with his favorite campground being Twin Lakes in Leadville. He enjoyed biking, fishing, kayaking and walking his dog Rocky, who was born and raised in the Rocky Mountains.

William lived in Belgium for some time. He had a passion for photography, owning his own DSLR canon camera. Taking pictures anywhere he was and editing them with a little extra exposure and contrast was his forte. William was beyond athletic. He could skate on ice and roller skates better than anyone. He played hockey at SBCC (Santa Barbara Community College), in an ice hockey league in Colorado and was part of an outdoor skate team in Allen, Texas. William was part of a volleyball league here in Addison for 8 seasons. He picked up basketball again the last month or so and as of late, William, Moriah and Pace would ride their bikes to the neighborhood park and shoot hoops before Pace's Dinner/Bedtime routine. He felt free and happy here.

Williams main hobby was Billiards. He was part of the VNEA League and loved by all his teammates. William played pool every Tuesday night in the League and again at any chance he could get throughout the week. He was a pro in his Wife's eyes. He could run the table. William would watch Shane Van Boeing and Fedor Ghorst all day everyday with any pass time he could get. He felt the most confident, calm and free behind a table. William would say this is where his mind wouldn't race and where he didn't overthink anything and knew exactly what to do.

William became a husband on September 30, 2023, and a Father February 11, 2025. Becoming a father seemed to be the proudest he ever was. William and Moriah faced some hardships after their first son was born and William was the grounding force for a few months. William and his son Pace have the most special bond. He was always teaching him and proud of his growth. He would call it 'agility training'. He would do this every chance he got, whether it was having P stand while holding a ball or whatever it was, William was always helping him and there for him. William became the morning Dad, taking care of Pace and breakfast. This was a special time for them.

William was so loved and left this world too soon. We love you forever and ever.
