Obituary

Kimberly Ann Wingard passed away on February 2, 2019 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 54. She is survived by her two beloved children, Isaac Wingard and Daniel Wingard. She also leaves behind her two sisters, Kathleen Nussbaum-Lingle and Kelly Woollett. Other survivors include her niece Kelsey Nussbaum, nephew Parker Nussbaum and brother-in-law Matthew Lingle. Kimberly was born in Sacramento, California on August 8, 1964 to Bruce Woollett and Margaret Woollett (ne Olson) who both preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her brother Rob Woollett, to whom she was only 18 months his junior. After spending her early youth in California, Kimberly moved to Plano, Texas in 1974 where she graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1982. She went on to attend college at SMU before getting her undergraduate degree at UNT in Business Administration. She later obtained her master's degree in Business at UTD. After graduation, Kimberly entered the business world, most notably working in the HR Department at ARCO Oil where she helped relocate employees to Texas. There she was so well-liked that many of the employees she assisted became close friends. After the birth of her 2nd child, Kimberly decided to leave her career behind and become a stay-at-home Mom. Kimberly had a generous spirit and possessed a loving heart. She had a life-long love for animals. At the time of her passing, she had five furry family members who were spoiled rotten. However, what Kim loved the most was her family, especially her two children Isaac and Daniel. She loved and protected them fiercely. They were the driving force behind everything she did. With a joy for life and a desire to have fun in any situation, Kimberly charmed all those around her. Known for her beautiful green eyes, her sharp mind and her deep laugh, she will be remembered and missed immensely by her loved ones. Services for Kimberly Wingard will take place at St. Marks Catholic Church in Plano on February 22nd at 11:00 a.m. There will be a reception following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Kimberly's name to the St. Marks Rosary Makers, Operation Kindness or the World Wildlife Fund.
