Wynne, Sara (Sally) passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, April 5, 2013. Sally lived a life full of faith, family and fun making strong connections with hundreds of friends over her 81 years of her life. Born November 24, 1931, the daughter of Harold and Alice Hermann, she graduated from West End High School in Nashville, Tennessee and went on to Vanderbilt University where she met and married her husband Robert Baxter Wynne Jr. An active member of Kessler Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Sally was also active in many bridge groups, the Dallas Master Gardener's mentor program, and could be seen enjoying anything to do with chocolate and Blue Bell ice cream. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Jeffrey Wynne. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert, daughter Kimberly and her husband Jerry Jones, daughter Sarabeth Wynne as well as brothers Charles Hermann and John Hermann. Sally was also the proud grandmother to her only grandchild, Meredith Jones. She will be missed, but her legacy of being a strong woman firm in her faith will live on with friends and family. The family will hold a private burial followed by a memorial service with her friends to celebrate her life on Friday, April 19, at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of Kessler Park United Methodist Church.
