Chandler, Marilyn

October 22, 1925 - June 26, 2016

Marilyn Chandler was born in Chicago IL on Oct. 22, 1925, the fifth of six children of polish immigrants Matilda and Czeslaw (Chester) Waligorski. A child violin prodigy, she gave her first public performance at the age of 6 and continued until age 70. She played 1st violin with the Fort Worth Symphony and was Concert Master of the Ft Worth Opera Orchestra for many years. Her long hours of practice could make it difficult for her children to sleep in on weekends, but all would be forgiven if she promised to soon serve her incomparable pierogi.

Marilyn married her greatest love, Stacy Chandler, in 1948 and together they raised five very lucky children. She reunited with her beloved Stacy on June 26, 2016, and she will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends

Excellent customer service, they made you feel like you were their only customer. Very helpful and explained what we should expect during the process. They basically took care of our needs during this time. They contacted DFW National Cemetery for us which made it a smooth experience. Definitely will use them again.
