I knew Alva at Irving High School.
He was arrest guy with a great sense of humor.
Prayers for peace to the family
OMGGGGGGG!!!! This COMPLETELY breaks my heart. I’ve been looking for him for years. He was my boss at Goodwill when I lived in Atlanta and “THE BEST” manager I ever had. He gave me my “Urkel” nicname, and taught me how to be successful in management. Those lessons I still use until today and often refer to him when I’m speaking with my staff. Al I LOVE you dearly and thanks for coming into my life and laying a foundation that NO ONE CAN EVER CHANGE. I will NEVER forget you and will carry you with me ALWAYS.
OMG!!!! Is right ,I met him after he left Goodwill and he came over toMAXWAY in Smyrna Georgia, he hired me for a cashier position two days later I was assistant manager, then he decided to go with Family Dollar and we got that store in order and moved over to Bill’s Dollar Store ,many years of service experience with him, couldn’t ask for a better man ,It saddens me to discover this 7 years later.
