Phillip Gene Brown, 69, a longtime resident of Fort Worth, died on August 19, 2016. The family will have a private service. Donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation-Texas.
Phillip was born in Lawrence, Kansas. He attended Laneri High School in Fort Worth, and graduated from Bossier High in Bossier City LA. Phil was an entrepreneur, operating “The Track” slot car track in the 1970s, a paint contracting business, and many other business endeavors. He was extremely adept at numbers and statistics, and an accomplished card player. Phil was an attentive listener, source of sound advice, and had a great sense of humor.
Phil was predeceased by his loving wife, Diana Thomas Brown, his parents, Maj. (Ret.) Lee Brooks Brown, Jr. and Dorothy Louise Brown, his brother-in-law, Dr. Monte Lewis, and his niece Ellisa Pope.
Phil is survived by his siblings, Susan Lewis, Christine Rambo (Mike), Shawn Brown (Molly), and Celeste Falcone (Deane), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
