Carmen Marie Alvarez, is in the presence of our Lord, she passed to him on September 3, 2016 at the age of 64 years. She was born March 18, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Joe F. Rincon and Amelia Flores. On April 8, 1989 Carmen married Ernest Alvarez, Jr. She is survived by her husband; son Ernest J. Alvarez, III; sister, Irene Maldonado, husband Alfonso of Coppell, Texas; sister, Alma Espinosa, husband Jesse R. of Dallas, Texas; brother Joseph T. Rincon, wife Olivia of Austin, Texas; nephew, Vincent Maldonado, wife Vangi; niece, Gabriella Cavazos, Husband, Jean; niece, Elena Rincon; grandnieces Chandler, Maya and Roxy Maldonado. Carmen is preceded in death by parents Joe Rincon and Amelia Flores.
Carmen lived in Dallas all her life, attending Obadiah Knight Elementary, TJ Rusk Jr. High and North Dallas High School, being a cheerleader for Rusk and North Dallas all those years. Attended Everest College, and worked at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. She will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Carmen’s passing. I have been looking for her for a few years. We were very close friends in HS.
