John Charles Inkster, 81, of Plano, Texas passed away on September 14, 2016 in Plano. John was born on December 9, 1934 in England. After attending school in London he came to America in his mid 30’s seeking a new opportunity for his life. He worked until his retirement at Boeing Electric as an Engineering Technician. John loved to play soccer before his knees wouldn’t allow him to continue. He was also an avid Los Angeles Raiders Football Fan and loved his dog, Jethro. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Mitchell Inkster. He adored his family and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Inkster; adoring children, Charles Meese and wife, Sandra, Kimberly Shirrell, Suzanne McCorkle and husband, Michael; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Inkster; precious grandchildren, Christian Shirrell, Catie Shirrell, Christopher Meese, Victoria Meese, Margret Meese, Samantha Inkster, Shaunna Inkster, Brittany McCorkle, and Krystal DeMarco; and great grandchildren, McKinley, Honor, and Shaleinnah. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Grace Outreach Center Chapel located at 5000 W. Parker Road, Plano, Texas 75093 followed by a reception at the home of Bev and Calvin Dill 1420 Iowa Drive, Plano, Texas 75093. John, you will always be in our hearts.
