Lindgren, Maude
Obituary
Maude Lindgren was born in Stockholm. She grew up in Sweden and attended The Ekebyholm School, an important time in her life where she made life long friends and met her first husband, Lennart Utterbäck. Early on in her life, Maude became an active member of the 7th day Adventist Church, who sponsored her and Lennart to travel to America. Lennart and Maude married shortly after returning to Sweden where she gave birth to her first born son, Ken. Maude later returned to America, attended & graduated from Pasadena City College (in California) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and was remarried to Jim Bowman with whom she had her second child, Kristina. A few years later, they left Los Angeles for Jim’s hometown of Dallas. After many years spent in Dallas, she returned to Sweden and experienced a later life romance with Lars Sandberg. Maude was an accomplished artist of many modalities, particularly passionate for her work with enamel on copper and photography. Maude acted with grace and compassion throughout her life. Her love for family, animals and her art was evident to all that knew her. Maude is survived by her children, Ken and Kristina and their spouses, Lara & Liz, and her granddaughters, Annika and Alisa as well as grand-animals, Hendrix, Giselle, Vasilly, Gustav, Shadow, Ziegen and Moose. An informal gathering/memorial is planned for Sunday, Oct 2 from 3-5pm at the home of Kristina and Liz (6727 Windrock Rd Dallas 75252). In lieu of flowers, we are requesting that those who wish to do something in Maude’s memory, please donate to a charity of your choice or simply do something nice for someone less fortunate. Arrangements are under the direction of ARIA Cremation Service and Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700
