Obituary
Robert Howard Trost was born October 17, 1931, in Philo, Illinois where he was raised and attended St. Thomas Moore Elementary and Uni High. He was a cum laude honor graduate of Univiersity of Illinois. He was in sales for many years and later became an accomplished entrepreneur. Mr. Trost is survived by his partner of 56 years, Earl Whiteoak and long time friend and companion Richard Raab. He was preceded in death by his mother Lorraine, father Howard, brother James and siter Marjorie Lange and numerous great nieces and nephews. Family members include the following nieces, Sandra Carpenter and husband Tom, Karen Rice and husband Andy, Marcia Kaise and husband, Don, Mary Lange, Diane Stumborg and husband Jerry, Mary Palmer and husband Gypsy, nephew James and wife Carol, Kevin Trost and numerous great nephews and nieces. One of Bob’s greatest joys was his home and beautiful gardens which were both adorned with fond memories of his and Earl’s worldwide travels. Bob was a caring and generous person donating to organizations he loved and cared deeply about including the St. Thomas Moore Church and Elementary School in Philo, Illinois. Private services will be held in Philo, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, the family request you make a donation to the St. Thomas Moore Elementary School in Philo, Illinois or your favorite charity.
