Harris, Teresia
Obituary
Teresia Harris was born in Shelby County, Texas to the parents Albert and Mary Harris on April 9, 1961. Teresia was a believer in the Lord and continued on that journey throughout until the end of her life. Teresia was a person who believed in living life to the fullest. She had a huge personality and she loved meeting people, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a social butterfly and very outgoing. Teresia was a foodie and loved trying new foods, as well as cooking all kinds of food. Teresia was that person who got a kick out of playing jokes on everyone, to the point she would get a reaction out of a person. Her family calls it the “shock factor.” Teresia loved playing games and always brought games to all the family events. She loved playing spades, however, you would have to watch and keep an eye on her as she would cheat too. :) As a young person and throughout Teresia’s life she loved and enjoyed music, dancing, dramas and plays. As we all experience in life Teresia had her share of challenges in life. However, she was a fighter, a force to be dealt with. She was never one to back down from difficult situations. Teresia was a person who was going to get her point across no matter what. LOL :) Anyone who knew Teresia, knew she was full of life and energy. Even while going through her journey with pancreatic cancer, she fought the good fight, however, in the end, the Lord called her home. Teresia leaves behind her mother Mary whom she called Meme, sisters Patricia, Letonia, Stacy, and Tracy, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. And oh how Teresia loved her great niece Harper who brought so much joy and happiness in her life. Teresia was preceded in death by her father Albert and her grandparents. A celebration of her life will be held at 9:30 A.M., Saturday, October 29, 2016 in the Rose Room at Fort Worth Botanical Gardens located at 3220 Botanic Garden, Ft. Worth, Texas 76107. If desired, donation may be made in Teresia’s honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Society www.pancan.org Arrangements are under the direction of ARIA Cremation Service and Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700

To your family and friends, I’m so sorry for your loss. Teresia, you are truly missed. I will cherish our friendship forever. This is not good bye, I’ll see you later.
My remembrance of sweet Teresia is always full of laughter and a fun loving spirit. Rest in peace sweet girl.
Teresia and I became friends in Elementary School. She always had a genuine heart and generous spirit. I remember her giving me an expensive piece of jewelry in the 5th grade. I couldn’t believe it! I didn’t know that it belonged to her mother. LOL I enjoyed it for an entire day before her mother realized that it was missing and came for it the next day. LOL (Heaven has another Angel!)
I am honored and blessed to have known Teresia when she worked at Availity. She was a ray of light and always brought a smile to my face and to others, she will be missed. May the Lord bless and comfort her family. Please accept our sincere condolences.
