Renée Romein-Johnson of Bonham, TX passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. Renée was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on August 12, 1943. She grew up in Amsterdam where she met her husband Tommy Johnson while he was on a visit on leave from the US Army Base in Metz, France. In 1962, she immigrated to Michigan, USA with her parents and her 3 brothers, and left shortly thereafter for Texas to marry Tommy. She was employed in Bonham by Wal-Mart in the Pharmacy Department until her retirement in 2005. Renée was very cheerful and helpful with her family, friends and customers. Renée often traveled to Europe with Tommy and at times with her late brother Paul to visit relatives and friends. She was artistic in many ways and she excelled in picture painting. She loved long walks on the beach, working in her yard and various animals and especially her cats.
