Brueggeman, Glen David
Obituary
Glen was born on February 9, 1968 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. After a long illness, he died at his family’s home in Dallas, Texas on December 4, 2016. He leaves his mother Carolyn (Rome), his father William, two older brothers (Gary and Gregory), and their respective families. Glen was a graduate of Richardson High School and Richland College. He then completed the M.I.T. Program at DeVry University. During his professional career, he was employed at Ingram Micro, MetroCell, and AT&T. In addition to his work life, Glen had many friends who shared his love of camping and especially fishing, at which he excelled. His in-depth knowledge of contemporary music and the motion picture industry was truly outstanding, and he provided insights to all who shared those interests. Glen had a passion for good food and dining, and took great pride in his culinary skills. He also maintained interests in anthropology and paleontology and participated in field studies in the North Texas area. His wit and sense of humor also will be greatly missed. We wish to thank Dr. Jay Courtright and his assistants, Heather and Beth, at Texas Oncology – Medical City, and all personnel with Faith Presbyterian Hospice for the kindness and attention afforded to Glen during this difficult time. Memorial services will be private. In lieu of remembrances, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society/Pancreatic Cancer Research. Arrangements are under the direction of ARIA Cremation Service and Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700
