Obituary
Lynne was born on June 19, 1948 in Dallas, Texas and passed away on December 5, 2016 in McKinney, Texas. She was a caring mother, grandmother and friend. Lynne was a graduate of Highland Park High School in Highland Park, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University. She lived in Garland, Texas while raising her family and had many fond memories of watching her boys grow and play sports. She enjoyed visiting with neighbors and reconnecting with high school friends. Her greatest joy in life was her four grandchildren. Lynne was preceded in death by her parents, George Edward Bando and Marie Loretta Dalack Bando and her beloved dog, Frankie. She is survived by her two sons and their families, David Garrett Machost, his wife, Rene’, granddaughters, Ashley and Haleigh of Alpharetta, Georgia; and J. Alan Machost, his wife, Melanie, grandchildren, Tyler and Allie of McKinney, Texas; and her two sisters, Charlene Bando Wolthausen and Toni Bando Sookraj. She is also survived by her sweet dogs, Tipper and Bentley. Services will be held at the Church of the Holy Communion on Thursday, December 22 at 2:00 pm located at 17405 Muirfield Drive, Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Every time we see a butterfly or hear the song “The Little Drummer Boy”, we will feel her love.
