Thanks to God for a loving Cousin. Rest in peace with “those whom we love but see no longer.”
Billie was one of my closest and favorite cousins. I will miss her VERY much. She had a long and happy life! We will see each other again!
BIllie was the best sister a brother could ever have. SHe was always available to help family and friends and she generously gave of her time and talents. JOur brother, DIck,
Mentioned to me during a phone conversation last night how wonderful Billie was and how much she loved family and friends and the good times we had growing up and she will Be missed by veryone who knows her.
I love you Mom! You look pretty today Mom, as you always did! We rejoice with you, now in your FOREVER HOME! For you are, FOREVER HOME WITH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!!!
I was Billie’s hairdresser for 25 years and always looked forward to her weekly visits. She always talked about her family who she loved so much. When we moved away in 1999, I missed not seeing and visiting with her so much. So sorry for the families lose and you will be in my prayers. RIP Billie.
These facts were omitted from my mother’s obituary: Mom was predeceased by her parents, Ivan Horace Smith and Opal Hitt Smith. Mom was married to Bobby Gene Moore on April 20, 1946 and remained happily married to our Dad until his death on November 8, 1992. Mom and Dad moved to Abilene, Texas in 1950 and all three of their sons were born there. The family moved to Dallas on October 25, 1963.
I was finally to open the site you mentioned to me today at work and read the very nice obituary on your precious Mom. I had not seen her in so many years and the picture I viewed….still showed the beautiful loving person I remembered….even after all those years. My husband, Murry adored both Billy and Bob and spoke of them often to me before his death. I am sure he and Bob were there to greet her….along side Murry’s Mother…Sister….as everyone called her. What a reunion it must have been.
Do not grieve for your loss, she is Safe and in the Shepard’s Arms now.
