Rest In Peace Matt!! I am praying for you Courtney everyday!! Prayers for your boys as their dad is watching over them !❤️❤️❤️
So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Peace.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ll be praying for your family in the coming year.
I’m so sorry to learn of the loss of your precious son.
My son, Richard Bruce, has shared his fondness for your family and I know you have treated Richard with kindness. My thoughts are with you in your sorrow.
I remember when Matt first moved into the Richardson area. He was quick to make friends and just had something about him that could light up a room! I pray for his wife and children. I hope they will find peace in knowing he will always be with them.
“In one of those stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing.”~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Matthew was the best part of me. When he was around all things in my world made sense. I am his biological father but more than that he was my best friend. I ask all you to pray for his 3 children, wife, Mother and Father. I don’t have words to express the emptiness I feel. I miss you Matt, I know your singing in heaven.
I am so sorry for your loss and the pain of losing your son and grandson at such a young age. Lloyd and Betty were long time neighbors of my family on the west side of Oakland. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Wow…I am sincerely sorry for the loss of Matt. I knew him for a short period of time when I lived in Plano and he was starting the band Edgewater. He was a fantastic guy and I will always remember him and will be keeping his family in my prayers.
He once told me that I had created a little spark, I will never forget his words I will never forget him, forever matt…
Beginning the year 2018 knowing this sad event. I’ve always been a fan of the band Edgewater, it was the sound that packed many good moments of my life in the middle of 2000. After a long time without listening to them, I stopped to listen today and I came across this sad news, at this time and ask in my prayer that God will keep Matthew in a good place. He rejoiced many like me. Your voice will always be remembered by your fans … My feelings to your family.
Sorry to hear of your passing. I was just thinking of Edgewater and sadly came across this news. R.I.P.
I know this may be 3 years too late, but as a young man when I first heard some of Edgewaters music, I cannot but say I was inspired to write music as well. To you Matt, though your voice will comfort our hearts through music, your memory and love live on. Rest on brother
Matt’s music has meant a lot to me since the early 2000’s. I associate Edgewater’s music with some very positive memories during a formative time in my life. Rest in peace, Matt. Your voice and messages live on.
So sad to just be finding out that Matt has passed away. My sister and I were just reminiscing about our very first concert. Edgewater opened for Three Days Grace in Towson, MD. We got the pleasure of being front and center at the show. You were the first voice I heard live in concert. After the show, you were walking around the venue blending in with the fans when we noticed you and approached you to compliment the set and ask for an autograph that I still cherish to this day. Our interaction was very short but very sweet. You seemed like such a kind and humble person. Prayers for your family and friends.
