In Loving Memory Jackie (Jack) Page Silvey Frisco, TX – Jackie (Jack) Page Silvey of Frisco, TX passed away on January 16, 2017 at 2:45 PM from kidney disease. Jack was a dedicated and loving husband, a caring father, and a well-liked friend to many. He always had a pleasant word for everyone he met. Jack was born February 27, 1939 in Fayette, Missouri. He was 77 years old at time of death. Jack was retired at the time. Jack served in the US Navy from 1956 to 1962, where he was recognized with numerous awards and medals for his service. He was a successful businessman in the Sales Management and Food Brokerage business for many years and served on the management team of a large chain of grocery stores before retirement. Jack was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He loved his football, especially the Oklahoma Sooners. Jack loved the Lord and enjoyed serving and volunteering at church. Jack is survived by his wife, Jo, his son Jack and wife Pam of Hurst, TX, his son Terry and wife Linda of Mineola, TX, his son Jeff and wife Macel of Waco, TX, his son Jarrett and wife Stacey of New Braunfels, TX, his daughter Joy and her husband Kelly Krull of Kansas City, MO, and his daughter Shelli and husband Bryan Clement of Frisco, TX. Jack is survived by his brother Robert (Bob) Silvey of Tallmadge, OH, his sister Delores Patton of Granby, MO, his sister Jean Ortan of Granby, MO, his brother Bud Silvey of Booneville, MO, and his sister Peggy of Lenexus, KS. Jack is survived by ten grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jack is preceded in death by his father, Russell Silvey, and mother, Mabel Silvey of Fayette, MO, sister Dorothy Kaluyre of Akron, OH, brother Joe Silvey of Booneville, MO, sister Kay Spade of Akron, OH, brother William (Bill) Silvey of Akron, OH, brother Kenneth Silvey of Lantana, FL, and brother Ewell Silvey of New Franklin, OH. Visitation with family and friends will be Monday evening from 7 – 9 PM at Aria Funeral Home, located at 19310 Preston Road, Dallas, TX, 75252. A memorial service will be held at the Genesis Metro Church located at 9750 John W. Elliott Drive in Frisco, TX 75034 at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017. A Graveside Military Service will follow at 1:15PM at the Dallas – Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Go Fund Me account to assist with burial expenses at www.gofundme.com/silveys.
