Obituary
Donna Marie Wedow, of Plano, Texas, passed away the morning of Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Donna was born on November 30, 1929 to the late Charles Bryson and Ida Juvred Bryson in Pontiac, Michigan. Donna married her high school sweetheart, Harold Melvin Wedow, after the two graduated from Pontiac High School in Michigan. Harold and Donna shared 60 years of marriage before he passed away in 2010. The two lived an adventurous life, shared a love for dancing and travel. They raised four children; Diane, Linda, Rick & Jim. Donna also enjoyed playing tennis and bingo, line dancing, and music. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by many but always remembered for her kindness and fun spirit. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by her brother, Kenneth Bryson. She is survived by her children; Diane Butler (Mike), Linda Bilich (Jerry), Rick Wedow (Kara), and Jim Wedow (Cheryl), brother; Don Bryson (Gale), sister-in-law; Jan Wedow, grandchildren; Derek Butler (Heather), Adam Butler (Megan), Jennifer Yost (Ben), and Garett Wedow, great-grandchildren; Andrew, Evan, Mason, and Miles Butler, Porter, and Brylee Yost, life-long friends; Jere Nelson and Lorraine Sauve, her adored dog; Muffy, as well as extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Preston Place 5000 Old Shepard Place, Plano, TX 75093 in the Veranda. Laura Echols-Richter will officiate and Donna’s life will be celebrated among friends and family.
