Gonzalez, Maria C.
Obituary
In loving memory of Maria Consuelo Gonzalez 3/31/1930- 3/04/2017 Growing up, I could always remember my mother in the kitchen starting the day with breakfast making sure we were ready for school. She was a hard working mother ; very strong willed. There wasn’t a day I could remember that she wasn’t doing something. She was either cooking, working, knitting, cleaning, and being at the school functions. Remembering how kind she was to our family and was amazing of a person she was. She had such a huge heart with so much love. Her love was always unconditional ; never expecting anything in return. She was a pillar of support. She would always give you a shoulder to cry on. Her smile and the sound of her laughter would ensure me that everything and everyday would be would be okay. I couldn’t ask God for a better mother. I already had the perfect one. Being raised by my mother was difficult for me ; I learned to always be honest, respectful, and show kindness to others. Even in her last moments she had the dignity and courage that willed her to be with her creator. We love you mum, you will always be remembered, loved and never forgotten. I was never alone, she was always in my heart. Now I know she is watching over me as she did when she was on earth. We could never stop thanking you for what life lessons you taught us. Thank you mum for being our mother, our protector, our ray of hope and pillar of never ending strength. -Ruben Sebastian
