Ash, Rosie Mae
Obituary
ASH, ROSIE MAE GARRETT
Rosie was born on July 20, 1930 in Macon, MO and passed away on June 14, 2017 in Dallas, TX. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Aptly named, her rosy disposition shone brightly through her ever-present smile. She attended the Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton, Missouri where she met her husband, Gene. They relocated to Topeka, Kansas where Rosie worked at Crosby’s Department Store and at Sears for many years. Her talent as a seamstress was appreciated in both her professional and personal lives. She is survived by three daughters and their husbands; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her love for cooking and beautiful smile will continue on in our memories. Despite our sadness at her passing, we rejoice in the fact that she has joined her beloved husband as they will remain together forever.Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, Amos “Gene” Ash. His obituary can be found here.
