My deepest sympathy for your loss. Donna has left this earth but her influence remains in the people who knew her. Donna challenged me to think a little broader, act a little kinder, and to work a little harder. Donna made a difference.

Jane Newberry says:

I was a librarian colleague of Donna’s and subbed for her after I retired. I admired Donna so much! She was kind, witty, smart, compassionate and a whole lot of other adjectives! She was an advocate for kids and books and libraries. The world is a little less bright without Donna.

Count me among the blessed to have shared her short season at Nappanee Missionary Church. She was always lots of fun.

Mrs. Mitchell, I have such fond memories of growing up with Donna and your family at First Assembly, Corinth. I enjoyed Donna’s friendship and spending time at your house. I think you and Donna and I sang some songs together that were fragrant to God. Love you still…you’re in my prayers!

Karen Yang says:

Mrs. MacKinney was such a huge influence in my life when I was young. It was she that encouraged my passion for books, letting me explore the ARCs that had just come in, discussing in great length my favorite novels, and handing me great literature beyond the scope of a middle school library. It is because of her that I developed strong writing skills and gained confidence in conversing with adults. I was blessed to have the greatest school librarian of all time.

Parul Bhatia says:

Laurie Bonnici says:

Tish Mulkey says:

Donna was a strong advocate for books and reading among children and young adults. Her determination to continue working at the profession she loved even as she fought her disease was courageous and awe-inspiring. It was my great privilege to have worked with her in the PISD library program and to have counted her as my friend. We have all lost a wonderful friend.

Larry Denbrock says:

So very sorry about your loss Tim. Please accept my condolences for you and your extended family.

Excellent customer service, they made you feel like you were their only customer. Very helpful and explained what we should expect during the process. They basically took care of our needs during this time. They contacted DFW National Cemetery for us which made it a smooth experience. Definitely will use them again.
