Stephen Craig Milford of Garland, Texas passed peacefully away July 26, 2017 at the age of 63 years. Steve was born in Waco, Texas on April 13, 1954 to Homer Dale Milford, Jr. and Barbara Joyce Collins Milford. He grew up in Irving, Texas and graduated from Irving High School. He was formally employed at MCI, TIC, and recently retired from Fujitsu in May. He loved his family and friends, and above all was a gentleman. He loved life, movies, gun collecting, electronics, telling great jokes, dancing, and meeting new friends. He lived his life simply and privately, his way. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Milford, mother Barbara Cockrill, stepfather Charles Cockrill, and grandmother Selma Collins. Steve is survived by his sister Shari Milford Griffin and husband Leonard; niece Jennifer Marquez, and his three beloved great nieces Megan, Emily, and Mackenzie. He is also survived by stepmother Mary Milford; aunt Bobbie Collins; uncle Wayne Collins; and many loving cousins, very dear friends and neighbors. His ashes will be laid to rest at his sister’s farm at a private gathering of family September 2, 2017.
