The best brother-in-law because:he loved my sister Barbara, his three daughters, all the family, and served the community so well.
Having known Frank since 1954, he was a true friend. And our lives rejoined several times, the last being many years at Church of the Holy Communion together. Our brothers and our fathers were also friends. He will be missed!
Frank was our next door neighbor here on Walling Lane for 50 years. He was a great neighbor and we will miss him very much. May God Bless his family.
Remembering Frank’s smile and his warm friendly personality. He was special. We always looked forward to talking with him at the family gatherings. Our hearts go out to all the family at this time of sorrow.
Greg and I send our heartfelt condolences to Michelle, Andrea, and Melanie. We enjoyed the friendship of Frank and Barbara for several years through our shared experiences at ESD. They were a fun-loving and dedicated couple; role models to so many. Blessings to the girls and all the grandchildren whom they loved so dearly.
I met the Meiers in 1983 when Barbara and I first began our teaching careers at ESD. I was always struck by how close they were, how united. One telling story featured Frank in his role as preux gentillehomme. Barbara was scheduled to play in a women’s tier tennis tournament, but couldn’t go at the last minute. In stepped Frank, replete with tennis whites and tennis racquet, to pinch hit for the absent Barbara. A gentleman to the core.
Another tie I had with Barbara and Frank was through the Tatum family. Frank and Barbara and Ainsley and Tommy Tatum were in each other’s weddings and continued as life-long friends.(Frank was Stewart Tatum’s godfather.) My husband spent many, many hours at the Tatum household growing up in University Park. (Tommy’s brother, Jimmy, was Buzzy’s best friend in high school.) So, it was no surprise that such great folks as Barbara and Frank would be best friends with the Tatums.
Buzzy and I send you our deepest condolences and some great big hugs. Susie Waters
Whether at the opera or at an ESD function, formal or in the backyard, Peter and I will miss Frank and Barbara. They were such a wonderful couple, and we are so lucky to have known them. Our sincerest condolences to Frank’s daughters and grandchildren.
Frank was a great architect and a wonderful person. I met Frank in 2010 in connection with building a multipurpose hall of our church, Mar Thoma Church of Dallas Farmers Branch, 11550 Luna Road. Frank designed the facility. The project was successfully completed in April 2016. Frank and Hemani Patel who worked with him in the project attended the inauguration of the facility on April 30, 2016. It was a joy working with Frank. Frank was a talented architect and an honorable and dignified person. I consider it a privilege to have known Frank. On behalf of our church and indeed on my own behalf, I express our condolences to his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Frank was an admirable man for many reasons. He was a loving family man, a talented architect, a principles man of integrity, an exemplary Rotarian, a good citizen and a credit to his community.Olinda
I have known Frank for over 25 years as a fellow member of Rotary and more recently as a client. Frank was an example to all who knew him as the epitome of what “Service above Self” truly means. He was a fine man and left his community much better than he found it. You are in my prayers.
Frank and I had a long time business and personal friendship for many years. He and I completed and added to each other’s stories. His wife, Barbara, and I went through elementary/high school, so Frank and I had another friendship connection. Frank had many great attributes, and I one time told him that, however, he being an Aggie was not one of them. An in fun of course.
As a District Governor of Rotary he was an exeptional Rotarian. No surprise that he was also an architect of high repute.
Frank and Barbara Meier were so dedicated to each other, their family, their friends, their church,, their community, and their country. My life is much richer from knowing and associating with these two amazing people.
What a full, wonderful life. I only knew him as he gave so much to his Rotary community.
