Obituary
Dr. Phillip Hart, of Dallas and formerly of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on November 10, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Phillip was born in Dallas, Texas on December 15, 1932 to Marion Story Hart and Margaret Brandenburg Hart. An only child, Phillip was raised by his parents in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Arlington Heights High School. He then went on to Texas Christian University where he was a football player and a science tutor. He then graduated from Baylor Dental College in Dallas. Dr. Phillip Hart was a dentist for 35 years and was beloved by his patients. Phillip was outgoing and enjoyed several unique hobbies. He was a private pilot, enjoyed boating, owned a sporting goods company, was one of the founders of the Dallas Banjo Band, and was a member of Brookhaven Country Club. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed visiting Germany. Phillip was a member of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas for more than 40 years where he volunteered his time as an usher and served as part of the vestry. Phillip was funny, enjoyed jokes, made friends easily and loved people and animals. He was also very benevolent and a devoted husband and father. Dr. Phillip Hart is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, his sons; Christopher, Marc, and John, seven grandchildren, as well as extended family and dear friends.
