Obituary
Kenneth Paul Eggsware, 73, of Childwold, New York, went to meet Jesus on January 22, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held during the summer of 2018. Ken was born in Childwold, New York to Walter and Elsie Eggsware on January 19, 1945. He went to high school at Franklin Academy High School in Malone, New York. He joined the Air Force following high school, and went on to work for Roadway Express for 20+ years where he went from being a dock-worker to training for his CDL and becoming a truck driver. He was a member of Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in Carrollton, Texas. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, being outdoors, watching sports, and anything involving his granddaughters. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elsie Eggsware, and two brothers, Robert and Richard Eggsware. Ken is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marnita Ann Starry Eggsware; daughter Lisa (James) Youngblood of Dallas; son Matt (Maureen Lane); granddaughters Alec Youngblood, and Tiffany and Brittani Kelly; sisters Dorothy Hakes, Marge (Ed) Lewis, Joan Williams, and Beverly (Ron) Richey. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation at www.alzfdn.org, Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, 4141 International Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75007, or Faith Presbyterian Hospice, 12477 Merit Drive, Dallas, TX 75251. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas for their support in his final days. The family also wishes to thank friends and family for their prayers during this time.
