Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Lee Fazand announces his passing after an ongoing illness, on March 6th, 2018 at the age of 72. A native of Beaumont, Ron was born to Frank and Helen Fazand on March 12, 1945. He graduated from Lamar St College of Technology with a degree in History. He then served in the Navy as a corpsman before spending many years in insurance sales. He spent most of his latter days in Allen raising his son, whom he dearly loved, and living out his retirement years. Ron enjoyed fishing in the Gulf for most of his life and loved country-and-western dancing. He was well known for his contagious laughter, sweet spirit, and love for his pets. Most of all, he cherished his time with his beloved son and the many adventures that they shared. Ronald Lee will be lovingly remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, Taylor and Grace Fazand. He will also be dearly missed by his brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Marty, by his two nephews, Chad and Chet, and numerous other family and friends. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 14th of 2018 at Aria Funeral Home, 19310 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75252. Visitation will start at 10:00 A.M. Memorial Service will commence at 11:00 A.M, followed by a procession to the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211 for a committal service with Military Honors at 1:00 P.M. Taylor, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet dad. I will always remember your dad. He had such a sweet spirit and was so uplifting. I loved his silliness. I enjoyed my talks with your dad the and the times we spent together the 31 years I knew him. I will always be grateful to him for being the best dad to you.
