Komuves, Constance "Connie"
Obituary
Constance Komuves passed from this world in peace and without regret on June 11, 2018. Connie was born on November 24, 1931 in Trenton, NJ to the late Walter and Mary Kateusz. Her life was well lived and filled with love, happiness, and occasionally sadness (so she could appreciate the difference). She placed her faith in the Catholic Church and Jesus Christ and believed in their teachings and is now with God. The joys of her life were her family, and so many dear friends that she got to know over the years…especially important to her were the Raritan Valley Campers, and members of the Clearwater Tennis & Swim Club, as well as everyone she worked with at the National Headquarters for the Boy Scouts of America. Connie loved to play the piano and those of you who knew her, know her prized position was the baby grand piano given to her by her parents. For all the piano students that she successfully trained, there were her two children who still can’t play, much to her regret. Also, musically she loved to sing and though Alzheimer’s had stolen most of her gifts and memories, she still loved to sing and could remember the words to all her favorite songs. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Komuves and her siblings Joe Kaytus, Steve Kaytus, Florence Crosby, and Helen Jammal. She is survived by her son, Andy Komuves, Jr, his wife Desiree Komuves, and her two children Kadin and Skyler Binn of Richardson, TX; her daughter, Lynn Cappuccilli and husband Joe Cappuccilli of North Brunswick, NJ. To say goodbye and celebrate Connie’s life, please join us for visitation at 4:00 P.M. followed by a funeral mass at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5100 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093. Immediately following mass, Andy and Desiree Komuves will host a reception in their home at 3 High Mesa Place, Richardson, TX 75080. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in Connie’s name, https://alz.org. https://renaissance-hotels.marriott.com/renaissance-dallas-richardson-hotel https://www.marriott.com/search/default.mi?transaction=search http://doubletree3.hilton.com/en/hotels/texas/doubletree-by-hilton-hotel-dallas-richardson-DALRHDT/index.html Arrangements are under the direction of ARIA Cremation Service and Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700
