Obituary
Born November 5, 1938, William Ralph Gudmundson, known as Bill to his friends, passed away on the morning of June 9, 2018. He is succeeded by his wife Jeri Gudmundson, his daughters Heather Haxton and Thyra Eller Cox, his son Thordur (Ted) Gudmundson, and his five grandcildren; Chelsea, Devon, Jesse, Griffin, and Lily. Due to his time in the United States Army, Bill was able to enter the workforce as a Biomedical Engineer. As a BioMed, he traveled to places such as Mexico and the United Areab of Emerates to help install xray machines into hospitals. Bill was known for his humor, his stories of his childhood and mission trips, his love of sailing, and his love of Jesus Christ. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memorial service will be held on June 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in room 309 at his home church Rockpointe Church. The address is 4503 Cross Timbers, Flowermound, Texas 75028. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a donation be made to the Salvation Army, to honor the many mission trips Bill made during his lifetime. Many of which were made with the Salvation Army. Bill was a good man that loved the Lord Jesus – enjoyed our time together in Church and Sunday School. Pease comes by knowing where Bill is spending eternity
Many a great childhood memory with my cousin Bill. He taught me how to play chess, how to save my pigtails/ponytails, my 1 and only sailing experience and had many a good laugh. Your family is missing you, but I know you are peeking out watching over them from heavens porthole while you sail on. Love, hugs and prayers to the family as they sail thru these rough seas.
I miss you Grandpa Bill
