Timmons, Lea Annette
Obituary
Lea Annette Timmons, born on October 9th 1953 in Cooperstown, New York to Anita and Roland Tamm passed away on June 9th 2018 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 64. Lea grew up in Valley Stream, New York and was raised with George Tamm, Kristina Tamm-Finnerud, Heidi Vertrees and Jon Tamm. Lea graduated from The University of Colorado at Boulder and owned her own business working as a medical recruiter for 30+ years. Lea moved to Dallas, TX in 2013 to be closer to her daughter. Lea was very outgoing, spontaneous, free-spirited, intuitive, wildly creative and courageous, with a generous spirit that attracted the most loyal friends whom she was extremely grateful for. She was a deeply devoted and protective Mom to her daughter Brianna Timmons and her kitty cats, and loved walking along-side the women in her mastermind group while they achieved their goals and succeeded side-by-side. Lea remained very close to all four of her siblings and cherished the relationship she had with each one of them. She loved astrology, alternative healing modalities, yoga and meditation, interior decorating, traveling with her daughter and was an avid reader and foodie. She believed in love and beauty and constantly created both in her life. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 2pm to honor Lea’s life and celebrate the light and joy she brought to the world. “I love you more”. My deepest condolences to Lea’s loved ones. We were good friends in junior high school through early high school years. We often took the bus to Lynbrook to visit her grandmother “Mutzi”. We got kicked out of “Civil Air Patrol” for giggling too much. Although I lost touch with her after high school, I never stopped thinking of her as a friend, I am do sorry for your loss.
