George was a special man, a gentleman in the fullest sense of the word. He always had a twinkle in his eye and loved to flirt with the ladies, but loved his wife Beverly dearly. We grew close to George and enjoyed all our visits with him, at home, at Pete’s diner, or going out to dinner someplace special. George never met a desert he did not like and his favorite saying was “that was the best I ever tasted”. I will miss you George.
Beverly, I am praying for you and the family. I really thought a lot of Mr George. Over the years he taught me a lot about the furniture business. besides being a mentor he was an even greater friend. Another of the Greatest Generation has gone home.
George was a true American hero and patriot. I was honored to meet George and learn about his outstanding service to our great country. It’s because of men like George that we’re all able to enjoy all the freedoms we have today. It’s remarkable to think he flew in combat when he was 21 to 24 years old. To know George and his lovely wife Beverly is a blessing. My deepest sympathies to George’s entire family. As a fellow Army veteran, I salute George, his accomplishments, and the wonderful legacy he left.
George was a dear, sweet man. I loved his hugs, his stories, and HIM. I know he will be missed. Beverly, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Much love, Holly
Beverly, we were so sorry to hear about George. We send our prayers, and sympathy to you and the family. His picture was so fabulous in the paper. He lived a great life. George was a true Patriot, a sucessful business man, and a gentleman in every way. He also married Beverly! Our thoughts are with you.
