DARLENE KAY FLEMING, 67 Darlene Kay Fleming, 67, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at her home in Frisco, Texas. She was born on February 8, 1946 in Portland, Oregon to Oliver James and Beatrice (Donaldson) Patrick. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Bob who died in January 2013. Darlene is survived by her daughter Julie and her husband Ron; son Rob and his wife Chey; son Bryan and his wife Kara; grandchildren Lauren & Gabby (Julie), Morgan & Reece (Rob), Kalin & Drew (Bryan); and her loving nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives. Darlene attended North Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon and enjoyed her time on the Rally Squad. Darlene married Bob in 1966 in Portland, and they were happily married for 46 years. Darlene was deeply devoted to her family and gave her life to raising her children and doting on her grandchildren. Darlene was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas. While she greatly enjoyed traveling, nothing compared to watching her grandchildren pursue their interests in equestrian, athletics, music and academics. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew United Methodist Church at 11:00 am on Monday, May 20, 2013. In honor of Darlene’s many charitable endeavors the family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church — Seven Loaves Mission.
