Wolke, Harvey Colin
Obituary
Harvey “Colin” Wolke, 80, of Plano, Texas passed away on October 20, 2018 after a short illness. Colin was born in Forsyth, Montana on December 16, 1937 to Harvey and Christine (MacKinnon) Wolke, and spent his childhood there, graduating from Forsyth High School in 1956. In 1966, Colin married Joyce Larson of Havre, Montana. Colin had a long career as a marine underwriter, working in both Montana and California, where he and Joyce lived for many years and raised their daughter. He never forgot his Montana roots. The family spent many summers visiting relatives throughout the state. Joyce and Colin moved to Texas in 2015 to be near their daughter and her family. He spent the last few years of his life enjoying his granddaughter’s productions and laughing at his grandson’s antics. As a young man, Colin was an avid golfer and skier. He loved watching movies, cartoons and the nightly news, especially the weather report. Colin is survived by his wife Joyce; daughter Teresa, son-in-law Michael Maciejewski; grandchildren Kassia and Ren; sisters Toni Murray and Stevi Schuster and brother-in-law Joe Schuster of Billings, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews. His ashes will be returned home to be scattered in his beloved Montana.
