Bridges, Gregory Patrick

On October 12, 2018, Gregory Patrick Bridges passed away at the age of 65. Greg was born October 23, 1952 to Allie Bridges and Christine (Weldon) Bridges. He graduated from West Columbia High School and went on to serve in the Air Force for 4 years. While in the USAF, Greg was selected to be a medic by his superiors and was recognized for his innovations regarding the hyperbaric chamber.  After being honorably discharged, he worked at NASA in Houston, TX where he assisted in suiting up astronauts. Greg was very loved and cherished by his family and friends. Those who knew him well recognized him for his integrity and understood his sense of humor. While he was a very successful salesman in his career, his true passions were nature, hunting, fishing, history (particularly Texas history as a descendent of Quanah Parker,) cooking, and golf. He is preceded in death by his mother and father (Allie and Christine Bridges) and his brother (Doug Bridges). He is survived by his wife and stepson (Laurie Ziegler and Nathaniel Liska), and his daughter, son in law, and granddaughter (A.J., Brett, and Camryn Levee).

Services will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on November 6, 2018 at 9:15 A.M.

Remembrances may be made in the form desired by family and friends.
