He graduated from West Columbia High School and went on to serve in the Air Force for 4 years. He is preceded in death by his mother and father (Allie and Christine Bridges) and his brother (Doug Bridges). He is survived by his wife and stepson (Laurie Ziegler and Nathaniel Liska), and his daughter, son in law, and granddaughter (A.J., Brett, and Camryn Levee). Services will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on November 6, 2018 at 9:15 A.M. Remembrances may be made in the form desired by family and friends.
