March 23, 1943 - May 23, 2013
James Calvin Nichols “Nick” Grundman passed away May 23rd after a long fight with cancer.
Nick was married to Judith Frank for forty two years until her death in 2002.
Following Judith’s death Nick married Gail Cleaver and they shared nine years together.
Nick is survived by his wife Gail, his three children April, Jeff and Jennifer, Gail’s three children, Eric, Kari and Kristen and eight grandchildren.
Nick was a devoted husband to each of his wives, loving father to his children and beloved grandfather. His humor, wisdom and devotion will be missed by not only his extended family but also by scores of friends and coworkers.
A service will be held Thursday, May 30th at 4:00 p.m. at King of Glory Lutheran Church at 6411 LBJ Freeway.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Nick Grundman Memorial Fund at King of Glory.

Kari, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I know he will be missed, but I hope it helps to know that friends are here to give you comfort. Please tell Mom how sorry I am. I know how she feels. My best and love to all of you.

It was my privilege to have known Nick as he and Gail made their life together. He was a friend, a warrior who loved his country, a great family man and a companion. I will miss him.
