Kasin, Nicolle K.
Obituary
Nicolle K. Kasin was born in Richardson, TX, on January 22, 1971. She attended Plano Sr. High School where she played on the girl’s state soccer championship team. Leading with a strong left foot, she was part of the Sting ’71 soccer club and was most often “her father’s (Al) daughter” when playing exceptional football. Beyond the Sting, Nicolle’s skills and achievements placed her within the Women’s Soccer Olympic Development Program. From high school, she then attended Stephen F. Austin State University where she took full advantage of the social and scholastic atmosphere and graduated with a BS degree in Biology and a minor in Math. Nicolle then began her 22-year career at PepsiCo within the Frito Lay R&D Department. Ironically, it was her skills playing for the company soccer team that led to her recent position within the PepsiCo IT Department. Nicolle traveled the world extensively and was able to cover all continents except Antarctica since she always thought it was too cold! Everywhere she went, she never knew a stranger and made friends here and there (just ask her favorite traveling companion, her mom, Pat). In addition to her international travels, the beaches of Destin were her comfort zone and her yearly retreat for R&R. Upon the return of her travels and souvenir shopping, Nicolle always looked forward to seeing her family and 4-legged companion, Gumbo. Most recently, Nicolle had plans for a “surprise” spring wedding to Michael Villalva, of Prosper, TX, in May 2019. For this wedding celebration, we ask that all friends and family celebrate the fond memories of Nicolle through laughter and tears of joy. All in all, Nicolle was a loving and giving person who never thought twice about lending a helping hand and never expected anything in return. She was so full of life and was determined to place the needs of others above her own. Cheers to you, Nicolle! May your wine glass always stay full while watching the sunset on the glistening white beaches above! Memorial donations can be made to any local pet shelter in her memory. Although there will be no funeral or services, Nicolle’s Facebook page will remain open and all are welcome to post memories and final words to her there.

Nicolle’s voice, wit, sarcasm, encouragement, smile, inspiration, and so much more, will be sorely missed. I wish I’d said this to her. My condolences to her family and fiance.
A sweet, funny, beautiful light has been lost with Nicolle’s passing. I hope that more of us can learn to care about others the way she did. I feel her absence daily, and can only imagine how that translates to her parents, Michael, and close friends and family. I will hold her in my heart and remember her with donations in her name to the IL Birddog Rescue.
So much love and so many hugs to you all.
My sincerest condolences go out to all of Nicolle’s family and loved ones… there are many. Nicolle will be truly missed. God bless,

Nicolle will be missed. She was a great friend and always thoughtful and caring of others. We enjoyed a long career together at PepsiCo. Nicolle was one of the first friends I made when I joined PepsiCo 18 years ago.
Today marks the beginning of her journey free in Glory. She is now unshackled from all limitations, all disease and all pain. Be joyful and thankful you shared her journey. Rest in paradise. Continued prayers going up.

I remember Nicole through my sister, Heather Ferguson. I remember her fun, full of life personality and drinking margs with her at El Paso. I also remember a fun 4th of July where Nicole and her family rented a bus to go to Rangers stadium to see a game. Very generous family and Nicole was always welcoming and friendly! She will be missed!! I’m so sorry for your loss Kasins

I met Nicolle through my niece, Amanda Pederson. Nicolle and I shared a birthday, which gave us an immediate connection. She had a vivacious personality, and was usually the center of attention wherever she was. Sincere condolences to the Kasin family and to Michael.
We are saddened by this loss. Worked with Nicolle from past 9 years at PepsiCo and have always found her loving and caring for others. Be it any community outreach event at PepsiCo, I have always seen her participating. She is one of the very few folks I met who loved travelling so much. She has visited many places in world which we can only dream of. I am sure she has gone to more beautiful place than this world. My condolences to the family and may god give you all courage to overcome this loss.
My condolences to Nicole’s family. She was a good friend to all.
I still remember the pickup soccer games we had together decades ago at Frito HQ. Now I know why she never missed a step, schooled us more often than we would like to admit. I will miss running into her in the halls at work and recounting the good ole days, prayers to family and fiance…
Nicole was so much fun to be around. We always had fun and laughs in the fitness center and out on the field. She will be missed. My sincere condolences to the family.
