Minnella, Barbara J.

Born in Ft.Wayne, IN on October 9, 1941 and died peacefully in her adopted State of TX on March 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Eldon and Evelyn Weikart of Ft.Wayne.

Barbara attended Central Catholic HS, graduating in 1960. She met the only love of her life, Thomas J. Minnella in the Fall of 1962. After three years of a most loving courtship they married on November 27, 1965 following Tom’s graduating from engineering school.

53years of loving each other is something to be cherished for eternity.

Barbara raised three children, Thomas, III, Scott and Deborah. Her daughter gave her three precious grandbabies. Barbara was their second mother or more lovingly called Nana. Barbara went above and beyond what a woman is capable of doing, both as a wife, mother and grandmother. Her love for her children and grandchildren was unparalleled, strong and beautiful. She is now in Heaven where she will be a Guardian Angel looking over her family.

Barbara is survived by her beloved sister, Carole Kloepper, all her children, grandchildren and Soulmate, husband, Thomas.

Her passionate love for animals especially dogs, was well known and should you wish to make donation on her behalf, it would be to the ASPCA.
