Bell, Raymond L.
Obituary
Raymond LaDave Bell, of Denton, Texas, passed away in the early morning hours of April 20, 2019. Ray was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to parents Donald Ray Bell and Lori Ann Hampton Bell and was an older brother to Rachel Ann Bell. Ray’s early years were marked by fishing trips with his dad, beach vacations with his cousins, and visits with his favorite person- his dad’s mom- Memaw. Ray, with his dad and sister, moved to Oklahoma and that is where Ray raised horses, longhorns, gaming roosters, hens, and countless other animals until the family relocated to Irving. Ray attended Irving High Schools, and after school went to work as a jack of all trades – working in plumbing, landscaping, construction, and various other entrepreneurial adventures. As an adult, Ray nurtured his love for motorcycles and motorcycling. Ray traveled to multiple motorcycle events with his dad and rode many hours with his friends, and the joy that Ray felt was evident in every smile, every laugh, and every rev of the engine. Ray is survived by his father, Don Bell and step-mother Wendy, Mother, Lori Allen, sister, Rachel Bell and nephews Dominick and Bradly Weston and Braydon and JT Johnson, son Ryder Smith, long-time partner Courtney Lang, fur-baby Ladybird and countless family and friends. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website. Arrangements are under the direction of: Aria Cremation Service & Funeral Home 1820 N.
