Obituary
Amy Elizabeth Ramsey, 47, Frisco, TX, died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Born January 2, 1973, in St. Louis, MO, she graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1990 and from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She received a Master of Arts degree in Computer Technology from Southern Methodist University. She taught at St. Monica Catholic School, Dallas, and Wester Middle School and Pioneer Middle School, Frisco. Mrs. Ramsey was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and National Charity League. She played team tennis out of the Lakes Tennis Academy and enjoyed watching her daughter play basketball and volleyball and her son play baseball, football, basketball, and soccer. She loved to travel and attend concerts with her husband. Along with the annual trip to the ocean with her family, parents, and sister’s family – which was very special to her. Survivors include: her husband, Rodney Ramsey; a daughter, Allie McDaniel; a son, Christopher McDaniel; a stepdaughter, Hanna Ramsey; her mother and father, Kathy and Don Green; her sister, Katy, and brother-in-law, Mark Williamson, and two nephews, Brayden and Gavin Williamson.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 11, at 2 p.m. St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, TX 75033
A reception will follow from 3 to 7 p.m. at Frisco Heritage Center, 6499 Page Street, Frisco, TX 75034
