Angels come in many forms, for me it is my mother, with love I can not say in words there will never be another. Thank you god for giving me the most priceless of all treasures, help my lord to keep alive her memory here forever. I pray that I can someday be everything she hoped I would, that’s she’s smiling down from heaven knowing she did good. As we gather here today there is no ending to her story, another chapter has begun full of grace and glory. God has called her to her heavenly home, part of his great plan, although it may be hard, we all must understand. Faith is what is hoped for, things we can not see, heaven is promised to all of us, if only we believe. I will have you in my heart and my memories, i love you forever love haley

Roy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Dana one time when we came to Texas and she made me feel comfortable when I had no idea what we were eating in a 5 Star restaurant(she would tell me what we were eating) and she was funny, beautiful, and had a very sweet spirit. She was really down to earth. Also, talking to her on the phone, she was sweet and always cheerful. I will remember her sweetness always. I am so sorry…..

Dear Sweet Dana captured my heart the first time I met her. Her smile and zest for life just drew me to her side. I would laugh as she shared stories about her adventures with Roy and Oscar(the famous pug). She was simply high on all the love in her life. My last visit with her was extra special as she shared every detail of their wedding. Her eyes just sparkled as the shear joy of the moment was relived. Her life was so complete and so happy. I am thankful for the memory of her dancing with my daughters, Katie and Kelsie. The band was good but
Dana was Cool!! They loved her free spirit and formed an instant bond. What can I say…she was just the best and will be deeply missed. Our prayers go out to Roy
and family. May God comfort your loss and fill the empty spaces with beautiful memories of Sweet Dana. God Bless,
    Diana, Kelsie and Katie

Donna and I will miss Dana with all our hearts. When I think of Dana I remember how loving and giving she was. At every family gathering, Dana spent time with our grandchildren and I know they all loved her. She was very special and had a great deal of love and caring for the entire family. Roy, your brothers and sisters love you and hope you find peace after losing our Angel.

“Of two sisters one is always the watcher, one the dancer.”
    ― Louise Glück

If this is true than my sister was the dancer; for she lived her life to her own beat and she was never afraid to try a new experience. And to set the record straight she was only 46 when she passed. Beautiful, smart, kind, inventive, sweetheart, best friend, caring and crafty are words that come close but fall short in describing her. She was a happy wife, happy Mom, super stoked about being a Grandma, loving daughter and thoughtful sister. She took care of everyone. We had so many great times growing up and it is still hard to accept that she is gone. Our memories will always be in my heart and will bring me comfort and happiness. Love to you always Sis. May God Bless and watch over you.

So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.”

This is for my beautiful, sweet, little girl, Dana. I fell in love with you the moment your Mother and I found out the good news that you were coming into this world. And when you were born I had my beautiful, sweet, little girl. As time went by my love grew stronger and deeper for you. There are no words that can express my love and caring for you. Sparkles in your eyes, kind hearted and playful, you could capture a person’s heart at a very young age. You were a loving, caring free spirit and a best friend. I could go on and on but it still would not be enough said about how wonderful and special you are to me. I know you cared with all you heart about your family and friends and you were so happy and excited when you became a Grandmother (Granna) and were looking forward to seeing little Nicholas as soon as you were feeling up to it. I know you are looking down from Heaven guiding your children and family to do better in life. You were such a happy person, high on life and full of beautiful stories about your adventures with Roy and Oscar (her little pug dog). Time went by so fast, it seems like yesterday when you were born, but you have been called home at 46. Time goes by so fast and in a short time I will be rejoicing in Heaven with you and all our loved ones. But until then I will have you in my heart and memories forever. I miss you – I love you – be happy and rejoice and rest my sweet little girl.

    I love you,
    Dad

Dana, You are missed by so, so many! I just can’t believe you are in you “Heavenly Home” so early in “Our Time”!
This is when I must lean on my Faith to remember that “God has a reason for Everything”!
He may have needed another *Special Angel* for his “Choir”… I *know* you are an Angel watching over me – *and* our Families – left behind!

You and I are “talking” much more; for *now*, you are with me, in my Heart – forever!

As you know, Prayers are being said for you, and your entire family, and Friends!
Yet, through my sorrow, is a “gladness” to know you are *no longer* suffering. And, in knowing that you are *now* relaxing and sitting next to God, among the others from our families – who arrived there before you, to prepare for your coming…

Continue to rest now, my Dear Cousin, in Love, Light, and Peace.

    I Love You, Dana!

"Nothing prepares you for the grief you go through when losing a child. I called this funeral home at 2:00 am broken and could barely talk. The amount of compassion and empathy they showed me immediately let me know I found the right place to cremate my son. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, SINCERE concern, and commitment to making sure my son was honored in the most respectful way. I hope this Funeral home values her as much as my family and I do."

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."

"My Daddy’s service and our family experience at Aria Northwest Highway was truly blessed. Funeral Director Dustin Martin is the kind of person that you would like to see on a more regular basis – but in his industry – you hope to not see him that often. That being said – THANK YOU DUSTIN for your unending kindness, compassion and friendship through the process. Meeting you and discussing Dallas History, Find A Grave and my Dad’s lifelong contributions to the great City of Dallas was simply wonderful! In memory of my dad James A. Dodd, Sr. – I want to personally thank you and let you know that you made everything better in that moment. Your calling to “Be There” is spot on. Aria has a one in a million guy in you! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: God Bless You!!"
