Helen Arthur Snow, age 70, died in Plano, Texas, Friday, July 26th, 2019. Born August 19, 1948 in Altavista, Virginia, to James Russell Arthur and Doris Helen Bondurant, Helen lived in various cities before moving her family to Plano, Texas in 1980. She worked for 30 years in the communications industry, most recently as Stock Plan Administrator/CEP with DSC Communications/Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia) until retiring in 2018. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, David S. Snow of Plano, Texas, daughter Julia Roadman and her husband Charlie Roadman, granddaughters Anna and Tess of Austin, Texas, daughter Helen Huckaba and her husband Cy Huckaba, granddaughters Lillie and Penny of Austin, Texas, sisters Katherine Hopkins, Beatrice Arthur, Iva Ciccarello, Donna Lynch, Geraldine Dillard and brothers Eric Arthur, Wallace Arthur, Terry Arthur and their spouses. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and lifelong friends. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, James and Doris Arthur, her sister Marlene Cole and brothers James Arthur, Jr., Jack Arthur and Jason Arthur. An extremely loving wife, mother and grandmother, an incredibly kind and loyal friend, Helen was loved by so many and will be missed – especially by her tennis teams, who counted on her for a line win most matches. A longtime member of T Bar M racquet club, retirement offered her an opportunity to play tennis, her favorite sport, as often as she could. Along with tennis, Helen was a runner, most recently wining her age division at the Frisco Turkey Trot, avid reader, crossword connoisseur, and the best Mimi to her granddaughters. With the passing of Helen, her family and friends will miss her laugh, her hugs and her abundant love. *Services will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 6121 E. Lovers Lane, Dallas, Texas 75214. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.

Helen was more than a friend she was what we all aspired to be such a smart beautiful women and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are you you all.
Helen was a gracious intelligent and admired friend and coworker. She was so proud of her family, especially her beautiful grandchildren. My heart goes out to you. She had so much more to give to you. A life cut tragically short. God bless you all.
Helen was a very strong lady and highly respected. She was my go to person for stock options at DSC and Alcatel. Prayers for her family.

I knew Helen at TBar M tennis club. She was graceful and cheerful. Her husband David was a good tennis player and I have fond memories of my time spent with them

Penni was my roommate at Emmanuel College for one year. She honestly helped me through so many down times. I have never forgotten her and never will. She was truly a friend
