Obituary
Michelle Marie Fulkerson, 17, of Keller passed away with her family at her side on July 29, 2019. She was born November 25, 2001 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Terry and Julie Fulkerson. Michelle attended schools in Arlington and Frisco before moving to Keller last year. She was a junior at Timber Creek High School, where she sang in the Varsity Choir. Michelle enjoyed music, photography, reading and spending time with family and friends. Many of her friends affectionately called her Miche. Michelle was a gifted writer and enjoyed the power of words to express and evoke emotions. While a sophomore at Lebanon Trails High School in Frisco, she put her writing and photography skills to work serving on the Yearbook. She was recognized with two awards: Trail Blazer Pride award and the Shutterbug award. Michelle and her mother attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville. Michelle was also active in the Youth Group and Sunday evening Bible Study at Village Church in Southlake. Michelle is survived by her mother Julie, and sister Claire; her maternal grandmother, Shirley Pellinger; numerous Aunts and Uncles including Erik and Margaret Fulkerson, Mike and Tracy Wilson, Richard and Clara Pellinger, Steve Pellinger, and Tom and Donna Pellinger; and her cousins Kent, Travis and David Fulkerson; Barkley and Sophia Wilson; Mat, Emily and Hanna Pellinger; and Will and Conor Pellinger. Michelle was preceded in death by her father Terry; her paternal grandparents W. H. (Dub), Jr. and Patricia Fulkerson; and her maternal grandfather Richard Pellinger. The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 3rd, at Good Shepherd Catholic Community in Colleyville. Donations in memory of Michelle can be made to: The Eating Recovery Center in Plano; NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), or Good Shepherd Catholic Community Advancement Projects, 1000 Tinker Road in Colleyville, Texas 76034-6104.
