Obituary
Funeral services for Evelyn “Tommie” J. Harding, 87, of Plano will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at ARIA Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Bob Weiss officiating. Interment will follow at Plano Mutual Cemetery. She was born on November 15, 1925 in Fairmont, West Virginia to the late Frank and D. Ellen Thomas. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 30, 2013 in Dallas. Tommie worked at the Richardson Medical Center for 22 years and was very involved with her children and their activities through the years. She loved crafting and sewing and enjoyed bowling with her late husband, and son, Tyson. She was preceded in death by her husband. Charles W. Harding, Sr., her parents, and her brother, Frank Thomas. She is survived by her children, Charles Harding, Jr. and wife, Terri of Lewisville; Renee Malone and husband, Kevin of Plano; Tyson Harding and wife, Sue of Garland, and Pam Rothschild, of Richardson. 13 Grandchildren, Eric Harding, Lance Harding, Frank Harding, Matthew Harding, Holly Harding, Jeffrey Malone, Daniel Malone, Sarah Malone, Wesley Harding, Trish Harding, Michelle Harding, Austin Rothschild and Zachary Rothschild; 8 Great-Grandchildren, Catherine, Chandler, Victoria, Allison, Layne, Lyrick, Kensley, and Jacob; and one nephew, Jim Thomas of Memphis, Tennessee. The family would like to thank Harris Hospice as well as Weismer House for their continued care and support over the last 3 years.
