Marvin was a one-of-a-kind personality. Whenever anyone needed help at work, he wouldn’t hesitate to do whatever he could to assist. His thoughtfulness and generosity made him a role model to many in the team and we’ll miss him dearly. Deepest of condolences to his family and friends.
It’s with a heavy heart and profound memories of Marvin I write these few lines.
He was an extraordinary person full of grace and amazing kindness. He was truly a “techie” and knew details of all the technologies he managed at office and home.
His quest for newer ideas kept him busy exploring every single day.
For me at Cisco, he was a mentor and leader I respected the most. He would never feel offended for anything you ask and also offered help at any time of the day/night.
Whenever I come to Austin, he would take me around places and once even to San Antonio. I can never forget the wonderful memories I had with him.
Marvin will ever be in our hearts and thoughts of colleagues at Cisco. We miss him dearly.
I am sure the smile he radiated, will lift our lives with hope and love for the future.
So sorry to hear about his passing. I am glad to have worked in the office with him. I pray for peace and comfort for the family.
I’ve known Marvin only via informal chatting at work for some technical issues and he has always lent a helping hand and never did he deny helping me out. Helped in learning a lot of new things at work when I was new join. Very well versed in technical aspect but more so a good mentor. Heartfelt condolences and prayers to his near and dear ones.
I have the honor to work with Marvin for many years. He had been most helpful with our technical needs, and he was kind and prompt to solve our problems.
His passing is a great lose to us all.

Marvin was just such a great man and skilled coworker.
There were countless times I’d be stuck and Marvin would break out his WD40 Python Genius.
He is missed.
I consider myself fortunate to have known him.
I remember Marvin as far back as grade school. He was so quiet and always had such a sweet smile. May God call him up a higher at the Heavenly banquet table.
