Your smile. Your easy laughter. Your willingness to help. Your professionalism. Your generosity. Yes and even your dislike of messing around with paper will all be missed.
Greatly.
What a great Christian man!
I didn’t know David personally but knew of him and his artistry. He added joy and satisfaction to life of my dearest friend by meticulously restoring one of his most prized possessions. A grey corvette. Thank you David.
David was great Christian and was just a great human being. David was always someone I could call when I had a problem with my corvette. When I came to his shop, he was always willing to look at the problem, even though I could see that he had other vehicles that he was working on. David was a wiz on fixing a corvette. He was a great family man, which I could always tell when his son was at the shop. When I found out that he was sick, I was crushed. I know he gave a great fight, and he knew that his faith was going to get him through. David was just one of those men that always went out of his way to help his fellow man, and he showed that he was Man of God. David was just one of those real ships that sail into your life, to brighten your day and enhance your life, to spread the Lord’s word and way into your life. Then, the ship sails away into the sunset, leaving with you memories of your encounter with that special person to cherish forever. David, you will be missed, and I am forever thankful to have known you for the short time you were here, and we will soon meet again. May the Lord bless your family, surround your family with his arms and to heal them during their time of grief. I will miss you my friend.
David was an honest, generous, caring and thoughtful person. He will be missed. My deepest sympathies to his family.
David was truly a wonderful man. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
When I first heard that David was ill and closing his shop I was shocked. For many years I have known him to be such a good guy. He was a very good friend to my mother when they worked together at Sears many years ago. He has worked on my Corvette ever since opening his shop. I am deeply saddened at his passing and extend my condolences to his family. David was an extraordinary man and the world will miss him. I wish his family the best.
I just heard of David’s passing. I was needing some work on my vette and was reaching out for his assistance again. He has been a great help to me and my cars over the years. I wouuld drop by for advice and he would also take the the time to answer my questions even when I called. I will miss him.
Dear Family,
I just found out about my friend David. God Bless him Lord and give him eternal rest and peace. I only knew David through his shop for the last 4 years. But I got to know him through his actions and deeds. What ever it took, David would take on (car) your problems as if they were his. He would stop what he was doing and see if there was a way of helping immediately. The world will miss his kindness, his wit, his compassion, and his angelic attitude. I will miss times we would just talk about our car stories. The Lord must have needed a TOP NOTCH mechanic, for his fleet of vintage Corvettes. Elaine, I will pray for you and your family. May you be comforted by our Lords grace and mercy. My prayers will be for the family, at this time. Robert you are now the man of the house. You will do fine, for you are the son of a very magnificent man (and woman). WITH ALL MY LOVE & PRAYERS
