Obituary
Mario John Lorenzoni passed away at Evergreen House in Dallas, TX on Thursday, October 3, 2019. He was 90 years old. Mario was born to Paride and Fannie (Grazzini) on July 24, 1929 in Carbondale, PA. He graduated from St. Rose High School in 1948. Following graduation, Mario moved to Niagara Falls, NY, where he married Olga Marie (Leo) Lorenzoni. They resided in the Falls until retiring to Port St. Lucie, FL (1993) and then to Plano, TX, (2000). After serving in the United States Army, he worked for over 40 years at Occidental Chemical Corporation until retiring in 1992. Mario enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren. He also loved dancing and music by Frank Sinatra. Mario was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Community in Plano, TX. Mario is survived by his wife of 61 years, Olga Marie (Leo), son David and his wife Melinda (Cox) and daughter Paula and her husband David Kornberg. His grandchildren include Scott, Madeline, Michaela, Adam, Ian, Nicholas and Zachary. Mario is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Leda and William Leroux of Niagara Falls, and his sister-in-law Mrs. Francis (Mary Nichele) Leo of Buffalo, NY, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Community at a later date. Details to follow.
